One name. One person responsible.

Every garment this atelier makes passes through my hands twice.

THE STORY

Twice through my hands.

Every garment this atelier makes passes through my hands twice. At the beginning, when I take your measurements and design the garment myself — because measuring is where the judgment happens, and design is where your life gets translated into cloth. And at the end, nothing is delivered that I haven't inspected and approved: every seam, every buttonhole, the hang of it on the form. If it isn't right, it doesn't leave. Those are the two moments that decide whether a garment deserves my name, and no one else can stand in them for me.

Between those two moments, there is a team.

I want to be plain about that, because most houses aren't. The small ones perform the myth of one man alone with a needle; the large ones perform the myth of a founder who still touches every garment. Both are theatre. Here is the truth of this one: my cutter has worked beside me for fifteen years, since before the atelier had a name — he knows my patterns the way a musician knows a score he has played a thousand times, including exactly where I'll want it bent. Around him are hands for finishing, for quality control, for logistics.

In my early years, I tried to do all of it myself, and the work taught me something pride didn't want to hear: a garment is several hundred separate operations, and the person who does one of them every day will always do it better than the person who does all of them adequately. I could keep the myth or keep the standard. I kept the standard.

And here is the line that never moves.

You will never be measured, fitted, or answered by anyone but me. Not at the first appointment, not at the third fitting, not when you write with a question the week before delivery. The team exists to make the garment better; it does not stand between us.

One client, one name, one person responsible — and the name on the label belongs to the person who will look you in the eye if anything is ever less than right.

The team makes the garment better. It does not stand between us.
